There hasn't been a release date given. And, my guess is we won't receive even a release window until after Rune Factory 4 Special releases. Just because while thery are different experiences, one series is a spin-off to the other. And, there is quite a bit of overlap between their fanbases. So, they probably want to space their marketing apart.
XSeed Games and Marvelous Games also have habits of announcing release dates really close to said dates. As, they usually only announce them after they have organized everything with all their retail distributors. As well, RF4S released 3 months before the FoMT remake in Japan. So, I would imagine at least that much time between their Western releases, if not more. Probably more then likely more. Especially, given one is a remaster that was localized by the same company that localized the original. While, the other is a remake being localized by a different company then the original was done by.And for greater context, it took XSeed 8 months to localize Trio of Towns for North America after its Japanese release. And longer for Europe.
So, we can likely use that as a barometer to gauge how quickly XSeed and Marvelous Games will take this time. Nah they know exactly what they're doing.
They'll milk the name dry until it no longer serves a purpose and if they decide to give it back to Marvelous, they'll make sure to make the price tag as high as possible. That is if Marvelous still wants it by then. By the look of things the Harvest Moon brand will be tainted with all the shitty clones they're pumping out. Look at the release list for. Since 2014, Marvelous has released 3 games, spaced apart by years.
Meanwhile Natsume pumps out games like its life depended on it.As a long time fan it really sucks seeing a staple of my childhood dragged through the mud and lobotomized into an inferior product. Still, the harvest moon name and logo will forever have a place in my heart. Ascend hand of kul download.
